 New Tips January 30th 2024

So are is your Indoor Gardening growing for your own home climate change project :)

Mine is going pretty good and I got few harvest already ... here some tips if this might help you with some issues I faced ... for my sustainable goal, I was trying to extend my plants live (roots from the seeds I planted) after the first harvest. So I harvested the needed leaves and stems and left the roots from the planted seeds to grow again; I faced at first a type of growth foamy white, like a fungus sort, and i wouldn't get a second harvest because once the stems had been cut, they would be much more fragile and the pant cut exposed part was getting the fungus, faster then when not cut (staying at the bottom) and it would ruined my plants to grown more new stems. Another tip is to add the baking soda at planting the seeds that would prevent even the growth from the base ... if you see it soon, you can pluck only the stems affected and keep the others, adding the baking soda (anti-fungus propriety), to the place that was affected.

I have succeed a second harvest by adding sprinkled baking soda (anti-fungus propriety) and salt ( depletes negative energies and used by many healers) after cutting the stems, the cut made scar and then new leaves and stems. A tip is that the second harvest is still more fragile so to harvest it earlier then the first one (when still smaller). I found that lentiles seeds respond well to a second harvest. Also to close the vent for air again as in after seedling the first time will prevent some contaminants to damaged the cut stems until scar formed to close it by natural process.

Amazon has now taller domes indoor greenhouses for almost the same price ... which makes easier to grow the plants like from corn seeds and have more leaves that do not touch the dome not to get brownish.

New Tips October 25th 2023

Added after observations : I have grown many sprouts since and it works well :) One tip I wish to pass along ... the vent to control the oxygen level that comes into the dome ... I got best results if i leave it close after i prepare my seeds under the lights, close at night or for an amount of time per day as in nature, it will create a film on the inside of the dome that resemble high humidity ... this is necessary until the stems are strong enough as it is for the CO2 the plant food ... plants need carbon as food for their photosynthesis ... the stems will grow very fast ... after the stems are grown i open the vent a little bit only to let more O2 into the greenhouse as the plant also need oxygen for the photosynthesis and that is normally at night ... so best is to do this in the evening before closing the dome light ... :)
